1. Definitions

 "Contractor" refers to Heff’s Electrical Services.

 "Client" refers to the person or entity engaging the Contractor for electrical services.

2. Scope of Works

 All services will be provided as outlined in quotes or estimates supplied. Any changes or additions to the agreed works may incur additional costs and will require written approval.

3. Quotation and Acceptance

 Quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date. Acceptance of the quote constitutes agreement to these terms and conditions.

4. Payment Terms

 Invoices are to be paid within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may attract a late fee of 15% of the total invoice amount. Continued non-payment may result in work being ceased and legal recovery action.

5. Warranty

 All workmanship is covered by a 12-month warranty from the completion date. Manufacturer warranties on materials and products will be passed on to the client where applicable. Warranty is void if the installation has been tampered with or altered by someone other than the Contractor.

6. Site Access and Safety

 The Client agrees to provide safe, clear, and reasonable access to the worksite. The Contractor reserves the right to postpone or cease work if site conditions are unsafe.

7. Variations and Additional Costs

 Any additional work not specified in the original quote will be treated as a variation and quoted separately. Emergency call-outs, after-hours work, or unforeseen site conditions may incur extra charges.

8. Cancellations

 Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. A cancellation fee may apply if notice is not given.

9. Limitation of Liability

 The Contractor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the services provided. Liability is limited to the total amount of the invoice paid.

10. Governing Law

 These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be handled through appropriate legal channels within the state.

11. Agreement

 By accepting a quote or engaging Heff’s Electrical Services, the Client agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
